Halloween in Bakersfield

Happy Halloween everyone! And yes, that is my goofy, silly, SPARKLY side :) Enjoy...

Eric dressed up as his glory days, and I threw everything I owned with sparkles on...and called it a costume. yes! An excuse to bedazzle myself!

Jessica & Tony's Wedding - Bakersfield Photographer

I had such a fun time getting to know Jessica & Tony when we did their engagement session at Pismo Beach (blog here)...and really enjoyed photographing their wedding last weekend with Patrick Ang second shooting at the Four Points Sheraton in Bakersfield. Bakersfield Life Magazine shoot

Well, this month I had the awesome privilege of photographing and meeting 5 amazing female surgeons here in Bakersfield. The Bakersfield Life Magazine is doing an article on them for the upcoming November issue and asked me to photograph them for a 4 page spread. The best part was throwing on a 'bunny' suit and meeting them inside of an OR at Kern Medical Center to shoot a group shot. I guess I can now say that was the most sterile photo shoot I've ever done! Here I am prepping for the lighting with a self portrait... and here's the timer shot where I ran onto the table....good thing no one had any scalpels in their hands!

Baby Levi! Bakersfield Photographer

WOW!!! Our amazing friends just had their second boy on Sunday and let me come visit them and meet their new little one. I love being their personal paparrazi!! And of course LOVED meeting Levi and he allowed me to photograph him only 4 hours old...such a beautiful baby, and such wonderful parents. CONGRATS!!!

Family Portraits - Blanco, TX

One of the great things about traveling is the opportunity to see old friends and their new family additions!
