Engagement photos - DC Wedding Photographer

My two passions in life (besides the hubby & family of course) are photography and traveling. I'm currently visiting family and friends in the DC/MD/VA area and had the opportunity to meet up with Diana and Jorly for some engagement photos! We met up at the Lincoln Monument after work and I really enjoyed getting to know them during our time together. They are such a beautiful couple and I love when my client says, "yes, we'd love to play with a prop (insert yellow umbrella)....we're up for anything!". Baby Elle! Bakersfield Baby Photographer

If you remember Charisse's maternity photo session (here) then you know I met the 'peanut' back in July! Now, I have photos from our session last week when baby Elle was only 4 days old! She did such a great job sleeping and following my camera with her eyes. Congrats mom and dad!

Bakersfield Life Magazine shoot & KC FAIR

Earlier this month, I got the opportunity to shoot a Car Spread for Bakersfield Life Magazine. We had 7 cars each in a different location that had a local, Bakersfield feel....Alley Cat, Nile & Fox theatre, etc. Then I got to shoot all 7 cars together in a field I found just south of town. And yes, I am standing on my husband's "farm truck" to get a better view! Here are a few actions shots that Eric got and if you want to see the final 8 page spread, check out the new magazine coming out tomorrow, Sat. Sept 26th! Enjoy and keep scrolliing for some photos and my announcement from the Kern County Fair! These farmers were nice enough to stop bailing the alphalpha for us so I could get the shot...however I think the photo being used is the one I got with a bailer in it!

Here's me when I found out that my Mt. Rushmore photo won Best in Show at the Kern County Fair!!

Family Wedding Portraits - Bakersfield Photographer

I love getting to use natural landscapes to photograph my clients with, and this weekend I had the opportunity to drive around some farmland just west of town and locate some great fields. Tabitha & George's Wedding - Bakersfield Wedding Photographer

If you've been to my office, you know I love the black and white "damask" pattern....but not as much as my wonderful bride, Tabitha!! She did an Ah-mazing job designing and decorating the Park Place with a black and white theme! I had such a great time photographing their ceremony and reception...and am very excited about all of the details that took months to plan!

Justin & Samantha's Wedding - Bakersfield Wedding Photograper

Last Saturday, a new Navy wife was welcomed into the military spouse circle!! I had such a great time with Samantha and Justin...and their fun families! The bridal party was a blast and it was so much fun for me to capture all the excitement and festivities. Good luck in Norfolk!
