3rd Annual Rock-N-Ride Event

Motorcycles + our local Marine's and Toys 4 Tots = Christmas in July with 98.5 The Fox's 3rd Annual Rock-N-Ride event. I was tagged to photograph riders as they came into the second stop, the new Bakersfield National Cemetery. It was a fun-filled day that started off at the Bakersfield Harley Davidson for registration and ended up at Ethel's Old Corral for prizes and drinks! Opening of the Bakersfield National Cemetery

July 1, 2009 the Bakersfield National Cemetery had it's opening burials. The Reserve Marines were in attendance and asked me to photograph the event for them. What a privilege to be there to witness 6 years of hard work to create a final resting place for our country's Veterans in the beautiful Tehachapi mountains at the Tejon Ranch just west of Bakersfield, CA. Also, the editor of the National Cemetery Administration News in Washington DC has asked to publish my photos, so I'm very honored to be a part of that. Hoo-rah!
